Andy has worked as a management consultant, facilitator and trainer since 1991, and is the lead consultant and architect of the Business Accelerator programme. Andy spent his first four years in consulting with an international firm where his areas of responsibility included account management and project delivery to clients in a variety of industries and markets. His consulting experience covers working with multinationals and small entrepreneurial firms as well as public services organisations such as Trust hospitals, institutions and even political parties.
Client projects have ranged from strategic planning to business process reengineering and cultural change. He is also a Director of SofTools, and as such he is well placed to ensure that clients benefit from a critical approach to business improvement that integrates specialist training and consulting services with advanced web-based performance support software and systems thinking.
Andrew had previously been a Director of a specialist engineering firm where he fulfilled a variety of commercial roles relating to the on-time in-budget delivery of complex projects. He had also completed a three-year Short-Service Commission with the British Army.
Andrew is also an international author and has had 8 books on business management published by leading publishers. These include: ‘Creating a Market Sensitive Culture’ – a publication based on management research sponsored by the Institute of Management, various books in the Dorling Kindersley Essential Manager series, ‘Business FAQ’s’ published through John Wiley, and in 2009 he launched the FastTrack management leadership series under the FT Prentice-Hall brand.
